Write for us

Prime Arts Spotlight welcomes pitches that make visual art easier to notice, understand or try. We are interested in specific questions, clear examples and practical ideas that can help a general reader engage without specialist equipment or credentials.

What to pitch

Send a concise proposal about looking closely, art materials, creative methods, exhibition experience or art history. Explain the central question, what a reader will take away, and why the subject can be handled accurately without relying on unsupported claims or access you do not have.

What makes a strong submission

A good piece has one main idea, concrete details and language that distinguishes fact from personal interpretation. If you propose an activity, keep it suitable for a general audience and describe any materials plainly. Do not send confidential material or claim access, testing or expertise you cannot substantiate.

How to send it

Proposals are sent through the Contact page. Choose the editorial option and include a working title, a short outline and a brief note about relevant experience. Please do not submit a complete article unless it has been requested.
